Club Services is one of the larger committees that looks after many facets of the Club's internal operations - meeting-to-meeting, year-round.
Pertaining to meetings these things include monitoring the running of the weekly meeting, assisting the President by making sure that there are members who monitor the front desk, tracking attendance and recording it, selling 50/50 tickets, greeting all members and guests, balancing the money from attendance for the Treasurer, supplying a Sergeant-At-Arms to ensure timeliness and order (a fun few minutes of fundraising from the members), announcing birthdays & anniversaries, Club membership anniversaries, arranging speakers and the breakfast.
This committee arranges several special club events each year, those being a summer BBQ, District Governor's dinner with the board in September, the Christmas party, Firesides for new and existing members - recommended 4 times per year, International Dinner in Feb or March and Charter Night in June. In addition, members of the Club Service Committee look after our winter Dinner Club.
Sub-committees of this group include but are not limited to:
- Club membership
- Media and promotion
- Speakers bureau
- Website maintenance
- Membership services
Club Service controls the budget for specific club costs that are paid out of the yearly membership fees by members.
